“Mon Cher Camarade” Plays To Capacity Crowd in Saulieu, France

11 August 2009

On August 6, 2009, “Mon Cher Camarade” was screened at this year’s Bayou Saulieu Film Festival before a capacity crowd of 120 plus people at the Etoile Cinema in Saulieu, France. Filmmaker and festival organizer Jean-Pierre Bruneau reports that the film was very well received and was a “real discovery for many,” as “few people had heard of the Cajun GI’s in WW2.” “Mon Cher Camarade” was screened along side Bertrand Tavernier’s “In the Electric Mist” and Peter Entell’s “Shake the Devil Off.”
