Director Pat Mire is now finalizing work on his latest feature film "Pointe Noire" with his brilliant post-production team at Cadence Post, along with sound designer Andrew DeRitter and editor Maxime-Claude L'Ecuyer. "Pointe Noire" was shot primarily in St. Landry and Lafayette Parishes and stars Canadian actors Roy Dupuis and Myriam Cyr. Many Louisiana actors were also a part of the cast, including Michael Bienvenu, Zachary Richard, Caroline McGee, Katryn Schmidt, Dale Pierrottie, Danny Landrimault, Carmen Nicholson, Jim Phillips, Victor Hollingsworth, Thomas Johnston, Alces P. Adams, and Thomas Dantin. Mire, who wrote the screenplay for the film along with his partner Rebecca Hudsmith, is looking forward to submitting the film to several film festivals and, ultimately, presenting the film to Louisiana audiences. The film includes music composed by local film composer Andrew Morgan Smith, along with songs by Angelas LeJeune, Zachary Richard and Bas Clas.
