Pat Mire Films Featured At French Quarter Festival

Two classic films by Pat Mire — Forever My Love—Music from the Bayou and Dance for a Chicken: The Cajun Mardi Gras — screened to a full house at the Old U.S. Mint in New Orleans on April 12th as part of this year’s French Quarter Festival, now in its 30th year. The Pat Mire films Double Feature kicked off a new three day film series, co-sponsored by Timecode: NOLA, during the popular French Quarter Festival. Mire was present to introduce the films to a diverse audience from around the country and the world, many of whom were new to these timeless documentaries on Cajun culture.
