“Mon Cher Camarade” Featured In June Issue of France-Amerique Magazine
30 June 2010
“Mon Cher Camarade,” Pat Mire’s documentary film on the role of French-speaking Cajun soldiers in WWII France, is featured in the June 2010 issue of France-Amerique, the largest and only French-language monthly magazine published in the United States, which was founded in 1943 by WWII France Libre exiles. Associate Editor Johanna Safar reviewed the film and interviewed Pat Mire for the article, which includes photographs of veterans Felix Mire, Robert LeBlanc and Lee Bernard, who were featured in the film. “I am thrilled to be included in such a prestigious magazine designed to reach an audience of French expatriates, Francophones and French-speaking Americans,” said Pat.
