Filming Continues on “Sushi and Sauce Piquante”

30 December 2010

“Sushi and Sauce Piquante,” Pat Mire’s new film project, closed its 2010 production schedule with dazzling 35mm cinematography by Belgian-born cinematographer Jimmy Ferguson filming throughout French Louisiana. In the above production still by Jerry Devillier, Pat directs Rebecca Hudsmith, Walter Jr. and Gerry McGee in a scene from the narrative dream sequence while sound recordist Eric Breaux booms in. The entire dream sequence, which runs several minutes in the film, is shot in Felliniesque fashion. Production will continue in February, 2011, with additional filming in Louisiana and Los Angeles. This is in addition to previous filming in Japan and Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. The film will wrap production in 2011, with a planned fall 2011 release date.
